Matthew Widmann, LPC
I’ve always been interested in helping others. From elementary school throughout high school I found myself joining clubs and getting involved in activities revolving around helping others and being of service. Graduating with a degree in Sociology in 1994, I began my mental health career working with children and adolescents as a Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) in Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) or programs.
I obtained my Master’s degree in 2001 and continued with my quest to help others by providing individual and family therapy in school and outpatient settings as a Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) and therapist. In 2018, I achieved my License as a Professional Counselor (LPC).
Since then, I have continued to provide quality therapeutic services to individuals and families in the Berks county area. I am comfortable meeting face-to-face or through Telehealth options. Treatment modalities that I use are:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Active Listening
- Motivational Interviewing
- Behavioral Therapy
- Child/Family Support
I work with:
- Kids (10 thru 12)
- Teens (13 thru 17)
- Young Adults (18-25)
- Adults
I’m looking forward to meeting new people and continuing my lifelong quest to help others and be of service.
