I’ve been in the helping profession in various capacities over the last 30 years.  I started as a Social Work major as an undergraduate at West Chester University, where I provided peer counseling for incoming freshmen.  Listening and supporting others have always come naturally.  After receiving a bachelor’s degree, I immediately pursued a master’s degree in social work from Widener University. It was important for me to obtain as much education and experience as possible to have a profound impact on individuals I sought to help.

Over my 30-year career as a Social Worker, I have worked in various settings, including women’s health, partial hospital, residential, case management, and behavioral health utilization and review.  I am excited to begin providing outpatient therapy services through Betterview Counseling and Trauma Recovery.  You can expect to receive a welcoming, compassionate, safe space to explore life’s pressures, whether you’re dealing with family stress, balancing a career, grief, or finding time for self-care.  I look forward to helping you to identify and work through beliefs, emotions, and behaviors that keep you stuck and ultimately move towards goal setting and taking positive action.

My therapeutic approach is mostly cognitive-behaviorally focused, and I specialize in working with adults aged 18 and above.  If you are looking for support in moving from where you are to where you want to be, I am taking on new clients.
