Ebony McNeil
My desire to help people took an unconventional route through several years of leadership in the corporate world. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in applied psychology, I realized that the journey was just a tool to do what I was passionate about helping people. This desire to impact others manifested in business settings and those I lead at work. I developed the ability to help these individuals improve their careers and, more importantly, personal lives. This led to the pursuit of my master’s degree in organizational leadership.
I realize the impact and importance of relationships and their transformational effect on a person’s perspective and life. As Booker T. Washington said, “If you want to lift yourself up, lift someone else up.”
With 15 years of experience as a sports coach, 20 years of corporate leadership, and being a founder of a non-profit organization aimed at helping men become the best versions of themselves, I have developed an individualized approach to therapy, which focuses on vulnerability, perspective, and creating positive behaviors. I believe the relationships developed in treatment don’t have to affect the surface situation, but if done correctly, they can genuinely impact one’s whole world. I look to create a safe place for all I work with to unload what is troubling them and allow us to work on action steps to improve and move forward together.
