Diana Spignesi, LPC
For 35 years, I worked in education as an educator and then as a school counselor in the Reading School District until I retired in 2020. While working in education, I also worked in the mental health field as a behavioral specialist. I continue to work as a Behavior Specialist in the field of IBHS.
Last year, I began to work in the Wilson School District as a School-Based Outpatient Therapist. As a school-based therapist, my main objective is to create a safe environment where rapport can be built and trust can be earned. The rapport-building allows my clients to feel comfortable while engaging with me, so that I can assist them in creating coping skills and allowing them to feel comfortable with their feelings when situations make them anxious and/or frustrated.
Through our sessions, the goal is to help my clients use their voices to express their needs and wants in appropriate ways.
