Briana Perry, LCSW, Clinical Supervisor
Briana is the head of our clinical program. She provides helpful supervision and oversees the operations of our Chester County office. She also does intakes and sees clients. Here is her therapeutic bio:
As a therapist who has walked alongside a variety of client populations, ranging from older adults with traumatic brain injury diagnoses, children on the autism spectrum, to individuals with dual diagnoses of substance use disorder and mental health, I strongly believe in the empowerment of the person.
Through the lens of strengths-based, trauma-informed approaches—promoting self-compassion and autonomy—I strive to support my clients through life events, anxiety and depressive symptoms, difficulties with self-worth and poor self-esteem, familial discord, grief/loss, codependency, and substance use.
I lead with the collaborative notion that my clients are the experts while providing psychoeducation and therapeutic challenges that coincide with my clients' overarching goals. I believe in the power of vulnerability, self-efficacy, the promotion of self-compassion, and the value of connection. I utilize motivational interviewing techniques in addition to CBT.
I am an animal lover, love a wide range of musical genres, and believe in the immense benefit of time spent in nature. Please feel free to reach out, and I look forward to working together!
