Anyelina Hernandez, MS
I’ve always been interested in learning about mental health and how humans can improve their entire lives by having a healthy emotional life. As an immigrant, I know the struggle most people go through when it comes to changes and the adaptation process in general.
Soy bilingüe y apasionada por aprender de otra culturas. I started my education in the Dominican Republic and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kutztown University in 2017.
Two years later, I completed my master’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University Global. As it is right now, I’m working towards my LPC, which I should be getting by the end of 2024.
I have experience working with children and adults who present trauma and self-acceptance issues. I use a self-centered approach, and I also combine techniques from Reality therapy and CBT. In my years of experience working in the mental health area, I have been able to serve clients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
